Year 2000 represents not only the millennium, but also the year of the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympic Games. Accordingly, the movable event tent reflects the atmosphere of the Olympic Games. The installation is meant to introduce the new company image of the National Daily Sport Magazine. The tent is utilized at sporting events, mini-Olympic Games, and in 2001 it served as a doorway to the Műcsarnok/Kunsthalle on the occasion of the Millennium Applied Arts Exhibition.
The tent is the first construction by Medence Csoport. It was implemented with a month, which included the design work. Having a prototype character, the installation is a vast non functional model. The structure contains six awning sections stretched in two directions which are tied to bamboo poles. Each section is fixed by steel tubes buried in the ground.
